Foot hurt during the night. Did not sleep well and could feel each time I would wake up. Seemed to feel a little better as the day went on. Got off work late and then we had family over for my daughter's 9th birthday. So I had to run late..in the dark. Not sure what happened to me. Ran way too fast. I was surprised by the 1st and 2nd miles. Kind of figured the 3rd felt about right, and the 4th shocked the heck out of me. I know better than to push myself right now. I need a long, slow, easy, gradual, relaxed, running routine for the next several weeks. Just maintain or improve fitness without hurting myself. And have some fun running again.
