Went to the pool after work. Wanted to get in a mile. Swam 1000 yards freestyle to start, thenn 100 breast. Put on the fins and used the kickboard next. Kicked 100 free, 100 fly, and 100 free. I am not sure if it was the way the fins rubbed against my right achilles or the extra resistance but I did not like it. Another 100 free and then 300 of free/breast mix. Ran with John around 8pm. We met along the way at the 1 mile mark. Ran the next 3 together. Then we separated and I ran on my own the last 2 miles home. John's average pace has moved a lot closer to mine. The run felt good. Swim - 1800 yards - mix of strokes - 32:54 Run - 6.28 - 7:44, 8:31, 8:31, 8:34, 7:56, 7:30, 2:29 - 51:06 - 8:08 avg.
