Wanted to run 13.1 again today. But planned on maintaining a 8:00 pace at least through 10, then picking it up a little over the last 3 just to beat my time last weekend. Pace was about 15 seconds faster than I planned at the halfway mark. That is when I decided to see if I could really push it in for the 2nd half. This would have been the thing to do last weekend. It was a bit cooler today with much less humidity. More wind and hills today though. Also last weekend was run in mostly shade and today there was plenty of sunshine on my shoulders. Legs did start to get tight with about 1.5 to go, but overall it was a good run. And a new PR !
