Tried running on the road today, but it did not work out. Jogged about 200 yards to see how the calf felt. A little something ther, but not enough to persuade me not to go. Then walked back to the house to my starting point. As soon as I started the feeling got progressively worse. And I knew it would not improve. So I stopped. So how far did I go ? A grand total of .11 mile in 52 seconds. So now I have to decided to wait 2 weeks or so before running on the road again. Frustrated I went to the pool. Swam 1000 yards and did aqua jogging for 40 minutes. That was one of the "boringest" 40 minutes of my life. By looking at my fingers and toes I believe I aged by 60 years. Checked my pulse about 90 seconds after getting out of the water and it was only at 90 bpm. Wish it worked the cardio more. But it should be good for my calf.
